AFCON EAGLES- BAFANA TIE: Nigerian Mission Cautions its nationals

Nigeria's diplomatic mission in Pretoria has put out an advisory to its nationals in South Africa, admonishing them to be cautious as the football teams of both nations meet in the African Cup of Nations semifinal match on Wednesday. 

 In an  advisory, which has gone viral, the Diplomatic mission says it has monitored inflammatory online comments against Nigeria due to the upcoming football match, and advises the thousands of Nigerians resident in South Africa to exercise care as they go about their lawful activities.

The 4-paragraph advisory cautioned against any watching the match at any public place, maintain decorum in all conversation and conduct, and added 

that any provocation should be reported to the authorities in South Africa.

The concerns in the public domain is that Nigerians are also unhappy with the organisers of the 2024 Grammy Award, for having voted a South African is Best Artist among several Nigerian Big Artist: Wilkinson, Burnaston Boy, David, Ayra Star, etc
